NDIS
Families and individuals looking for the support of a psychologist using NDIS funding can make contact with me to explore initial needs. I am registered to provide support under the Improved Daily Living category. I have significant experience working with children, teenagers and young adults diagnosed with a range of disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities developmental delays and am able to support families where some moderately challenging behaviours are present, social skills are required to be further developed, improved family communication for family function amongst much more.
Support can vary and it can look like counselling in the clinic for a child/teenager able to participate as well as school, home or community support. For younger children, parent involvement and consultation I've found is usually necessary to varying extents throughout the intervention process and I maintain a strong alliance with parents throughout.
I'm also able to provide support for emotional regulation and awareness, teenager puberty transitions and sexual self-awareness.
